Is there an instruction manual for the Process Writer app?
There is no manual. Instead, Metrilogics has made every effort to include relevant instructional verbiage near the app's data fields. We have also tried to create an intuitive general layout of the app - including the placement and descriptions of command buttons - to enhance the user experience. If you still have any questions about how to use the Process Writer app, you can return to this web page for additional information, which will be updated as we receive customer feedback.
I've used other writing apps that make it difficult to make edits to written text, add or delete process steps, or re-sequence process steps in final drafts. How does Process Writer accommodate the need to make such edits?
The Process Writer app is designed to allow all sorts of edits simply by touching a data field and re-typing text, using the "Edit" button to add or delete process steps within a process scenario, or touching and dragging a given process step so that it falls in the correct sequence within a process scenario.
They say a picture's worth a thousand words - which can save a LOT of text keying, especially on long procedures! Does the Process Writer allow the user to take photographs to illustrate a documented process scenario or process step?
Absolutely! Process Writer allows the user to take one or multiple photos of each and every process step that's documented within the app. Best of all, these photos and the accompanying step-by-step process scenario text can be emailed to the user for the development of finalized training material in any number of platforms (e.g., procedure documents in Word or PowerPoint, desktop or online training videos, etc.).
